Doreen was the second of five daughters born to George & Alice. The family lived in Essex & London where George had numerous businesses. In 1956 Doreen met John Sarsfield and fell in love. They married & had three children, living their married life in London. Sadly Doreen died long before her Grandson, Jesse, was born, but that hasn't stopped him from loving her as much as his Mummy, Aunt & Uncle do, and we know that equally she loves him & is watching over him every day. Doreen & John were married for 36 years. After her death, John visited Doreen's grave every day until an accident left him disabled. When he went to join her the sadness felt by their children was made easier by the knowledge that they were together again.
